Our present culture has created a deep disconnect to the physical body. Bestselling books such as The Body Keeps the Score, Waking the Tiger: Healing Trauma, and When the Body Says No, all explore and encourage reconnecting to the body as the path to healing and presence with evidence-based research. Reconnecting to the body is a way to deepen self-understanding on all levels including:
physical well-being and health,
emotional realignment and resilience and
spiritual growth and understanding.
Healing on all levels – body, mind and spirit can only happen when we are present with and connected to our bodies.
Join Punitama and Deva Arani as we explore foundational techniques to connect with our bodies, release trauma and dis-ease, and learn to tap into our bodies internal and infinite wisdom. Each session is designed to bring us into our bodies and through that essential doorway — into presence.
In this experiential course, we will explore somatic experiencing work, compassionate inquiry work, breathwork, meditation, and movement, with the intention of learning to use these techniques to tap into our own bodies wisdom for healing, clarity and ultimately to bring us into presence.
This course is for anyone who is curious about how to calm and regulate their nervous system, release old trauma or dis-ease, increase energy and vitality, and deepen their mindfulness and meditation.
Wednesdays from 6.30 – 9:00 pm – June 14, June 21, June 28 and July 5
