OSHO DYNAMIC MEDITATION

Osho Dynamic Meditation is done all over the world at first light.  It is a fast, intense and thorough way to break old patterns in the body/mind and release tensions and anxieties that no longer serve.   The meditation lasts one hour and has five stages.  Each stage is supported by music, which was specifically written for Osho and this meditation.  The meditation is done with eyes closed and uses breath work, cathartic release, dance, and stillness to allow the meditator to release tension and deeply held emotions into a place of silence and finally celebration.

“Silence must happen while you are absolutely alive, vital, bubbling with life and energy.  Then the silence is meaningful.  … It will not be dull.  It will be alive.  It will be a subtle balance between two polarities…. Dynamic meditation is a contradiction.  Dynamic means effort, much effort, absolute effort.  And meditation means silence, no effort, no activity.”
